Sunnyside Annexe

Sunnyside Annexe suits couples and solo travellers after a straightforward retreat. This one-bedroom annexe is your own space, independent from the larger property next door, with its own entrance and a private sitting area outside. Ground floor throughout means everything is easily accessible, and there's parking for one car on site.

Inside, the bedroom has a double bed, and the bathroom includes a shower cubicle and heated towel rail. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—there's a combi microwave with oven and grill function, plus an air fryer and fridge. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided, along with heating for the cooler months. The open-plan layout makes the space feel larger than it is, with room to cook, eat and relax without feeling cramped.

Latchingdon is a quiet village surrounded by countryside, and Maldon—a historic riverside town with shops, pubs and regular events—is a short drive away. From here you can reach the Dengie Peninsula's quieter stretches of coast, local nature reserves popular with birdwatchers, and walking or cycling routes across the surrounding area. No smoking inside the annexe.
