About The Horse & Groom Inn
A restaurant and bar sit at the heart of The Horse & Groom Inn, giving this small Malmesbury hotel the feel of a proper local pub with rooms attached. Breakfast is served each morning, and the bar makes it an easy spot to eat and drink without venturing out, though the surrounding Wiltshire countryside and Malmesbury's historic streets are close at hand for those who do.
There are just five rooms, kept traditional in style, so the atmosphere stays intimate rather than corporate. Free WiFi, luggage storage and 24 hour reception cover the practical side of a stay, and free on-site parking is a genuine convenience in a town centre setting.
The garden offers a quieter spot to sit outside, while the inn's wedding venue facilities and concierge services mean it caters for events and longer stays as well as overnight visits. It's a straightforward base for exploring Malmesbury and the countryside beyond.
