The Mill Lodge

A converted building on a former mill estate, The Mill Lodge dates back centuries but was completely renovated in 2023. It stands on the Wiltshire and Gloucestershire border between Garsdon and Charlton, with countryside views across the valley. The whole property is yours alone, with private parking for two cars and a tree-lined drive leading down to it.

Inside: a ground-floor living room with log burner, kitchen with full appliances including dishwasher, and a sun room. Three bedrooms comprise one king on the ground floor with en-suite shower, two singles and another king upstairs, served by a main bathroom with shower over the bath. Both bathrooms have heated towel rails. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, plus initial fuel for the wood burner and a welcome pack.

Outside is an enclosed garden with patio, gas barbecue and furniture, plus a heated outdoor swimming pool (May to October, by prior arrangement) with shower and changing rooms. A tennis court is occasionally available. One dog is welcome. Access is via 12 steps to the front entrance or a back entrance into the garden. This suits families, couples and small groups wanting privacy and their own space.
