About Three Counties Showground Campsite
Roll up, roll up – come and admire this splendid site set against a backdrop of the Malvern Hills. As its name suggests, Three Counties Showground Campsite stretches across the borders of Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire, just minutes from the A449 and those wonderful footpaths threading through the Malverns.
What's happening on site depends largely on when you visit – the showground hosts everything from food festivals to county fairs and flower shows throughout the year. Do note that pitch bookings don't include event access, which needs arranging separately. Between shows, though, some visitors mention the site can feel a touch tired in places, particularly the facilities.
This family-friendly spot welcomes dogs year-round and allows barbecues (off the ground, please). You'll find spacious showers and toilets, free wifi, and Great Malvern's shops and pubs are just five minutes away. The real draw remains that spectacular Malvern Hills scenery – walkers, cyclists and mountain bikers are brilliantly placed here.

What visitors say
Generally happy with the campsite. Our pitch seemed quite spacious. Was grateful to have electricity. Showers were reasonably clean although the water temperature was either too hot or too cold. Not much in-between. Toilets were clean. The site itself is quite basic but didn't have much grounds to complain about anything apart from the traffic on Saturday night and Sunday night which was weird considering it's quite rural. Last but not least Dominic the braying donkey woke me up at 3am so please pass my complaints to him 🤪

I'm working locally so wanted somewhere decent to camp, and Three Counties certainly fits the bill! I was welcomed at the barrier by George, who was so chatty and friendly. After a while I went to the pitch and attempted to put my tent up. After several attempts scuppered by gusty winds, I contemplated my life choices, wondering if I should just sleep in the van. Next thing I know, George has arrived on his golf buggy like a knight on his trusty steed, asking if I needed some help? 30 minutes later and we'd smashed it!! I cannot thank him enough for his help! He truly is a top bloke, a credit to the campsite and a genuinely nice chap! Thanks George, you're ace!

This campsite is located upon the Three Counties Showground, a large area with various facilities for events. As the name suggests, the site sits on the borders between Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire. No doubt a fantastic site if you're here to participate or attend one of these events. We visited as the site also provides fantastic to the Malvern Hills and Great Malvern town. It's approximately 10 minutes drive from the site, or if you fancy the walk, 1.5 hours via the bridleway located just north of the site. Location is excellent and a good view of the hills. The site is looked after by a man named George who was very friendly when greeting us and also made us aware of a fish & chips takeaway service that was able to be ordered to the site. We camped with tents and whilst I do acknowledge it's October, the grass was a bit overgrown in places and the ground a bit solid. There is also the possibility of noise issues from the B4208 and the event site, but we left early so luckily this wasn't a huge issue.

It was very handy for Malvern, the showground and walking on the hills. Reasonable price. Basic, but that is how we like it. Range of electric and non electric pitches, on-site toilet block with showers that were always very clean. We went over the bank holiday weekend and it wasn't that busy. George and his wife are fab and very helpful. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back next year.
