What visitors say
£12 per person. Great! It did get cancelled once due to weather but then we rebooked. Very informative but not annoying it’s a good balance. The ladies are lovely and friendly. Option to sit inside or upstairs outside. Cafe and toilets on board

At £12 for an hours cruise around the canals and rivers of Manchester it offers probably the best value for money I've seen for years! Lovely boat, bar and snacks on board- plus fantastic hot chocolate! There's a running commentary on the important sights around the area and visibility from inside the boat, if the weather isn't playing ball, is excellent but the upper deck is a must if it is, all in all a must-do if you're in the area, be daft not to!

We recently took a boat cruise along the river from Manchester Quayside, and it was such a wonderful, relaxing experience. We waited by the river until the boat pulled up, and the incredibly nice and friendly staff welcomed us on board right away. The boat itself is great and offers plenty of seating options depending on what you prefer. You can choose to sit up on the top deck to take in the views from the outside, or if you want something a bit warmer, you can sit inside where it’s fully enclosed with comfortable tables. Once we set off, it was so peaceful! You can order drinks on board to enjoy as you cruise along the water, which was a lovely touch. During the journey, they play a really interesting pre-recorded audio guide that tells you all about the river, the docks, and the local history as you pass by the different sights. If you're looking for a laid-back and informative way to see Manchester and Salford Quays from a different perspective, I highly recommend this cruise. The staff were fantastic, and we had a truly great time!

We really enjoyed our trip. The all female crew were brilliant and very friendly. Interesting commentary about the history and very reasonable prices - £1 for a cuppa!
