About Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre
Manchester's city centre puts guests within easy reach of Deansgate and the surrounding attractions, and Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre sits right in the middle of it on Aytoun Street. The hotel offers 298 rooms, with prices generally ranging from £75 to £300 depending on dates, making it a flexible base for both short breaks and longer stays.
Rooms are air-conditioned and come with en-suite bathrooms that are well stocked, along with family and accessible options for those who need them. Facilities extend to a restaurant, bar, snack bar, gym, and room service, plus practical extras such as laundry service, luggage storage, and meeting rooms for those travelling on business. Breakfast is a particular strength, with a good range of choices to start the day. Staff are generally described as friendly and helpful, though a handful of guests have noted occasional lapses in professionalism.
Beyond the hotel, the surrounding area has plenty to occupy guests, with pubs, restaurants, and entertainment venues all nearby, along with golf and watersports options further afield. Parking is available nearby for a fee rather than on-site, worth factoring in for anyone arriving by car.
What guests say
The overall atmosphere was ideal for business, with great amenities and a high standard of service throughout. The coffee certainly helped keep the ideas flowing, too! We would definitely choose this hotel again for future meetings and corporate events, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others

I had a great experience here. I came here to attend a conference from Tokyo and I found that I did not bring my converter. David the person in charge of the front managed one converter at morning 3:00 and gave me complimentary water too. I had a GREAT time here. Thank you for being so nice and saved me!!! I wanted to see him but he was not available after that. You can choose this hotel by closing your eyes.

This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The staff were unbelievably rude and unprofessional. Their attitude toward guests was disrespectful, and they showed absolutely no interest in helping. The room was extremely hot and uncomfortable. I reported the problem to several staff members, but every single one of them ignored my complaint. They eventually gave us two fans, but they made almost no difference, and the room remained unbearably hot. I asked to be moved to another room, but they simply refused without offering any proper solution. What made the experience even worse was the way the staff spoke to us. Their attitude was shocking, and their customer service was completely unacceptable. I would never stay at this hotel again, and I strongly recommend that others avoid it. There are far better places to stay where guests are treated with basic respect.

Stayed 2 nights. Spotlessly clean, room service if needed, staff lovely and helpful, check in was quick and easy. We were even aloud to leave our suitcases for a couple of hours after check out until our coach home. First time staying in Manchester and we picked the best hotel. Right near city centre and our coach pick up and drop off. Would definitely stay again.
