About The Albion Rooms

The Albion Rooms sits within the Dreamland complex on Margate's seafront, giving guests direct access to the vintage amusement park and its events programme. The building blends the site's funfair heritage with a music-led, retro design theme running through its public spaces and bedrooms.

Rooms range from compact doubles to larger family layouts, decorated with a playful nod to the golden age of the British seaside holiday, and several look out over the park's rides and the sea beyond.

Its position makes it a natural choice for anyone attending a Dreamland concert or event, as well as families wanting rides, beach and bed all in one place, though it can be lively on event nights.

My partner had the great pleasure of working alongside some amazing artists yesterday in the Albion Rooms recording studio. The Sound engineer is amazing, the drummer who came in for us, the photographer. We're all very friendly, hardworking, went at my partner's pace. It all went above my head a little bit, but was a wonderful experience to witness and be able to be a part of. The Albion rooms staff that we came across, from reception, to bar staff, kitchen staff and cleaners were all great! Accomodating, friendly but still very professional. I get the sense that these guys go above and beyond to make sure anyone who visits has the best possible time. The place itself if fun and quirky as well as being very clean. Would go back again in a heartbeat!

My partner and I celebrated our anniversary here in November. We were given a free upgrade and the staff were phenomenal throughout our stay. Breakfast was amazing as well. Highly recommend!!

had a brilliant two night stay here last weekend, lovely decor throughout, good vibes and friendly staff, nice downstairs bar however noisy until past 12. great location near the beach, bedroom doors were very heavy and had to slam them to shut, on our first night we were woke to an unknown man entering our room not once but twice in 5 mins at around 1:30am which was creepy to say the least.. he soon left after we asked what he was doing, but still very scary, bed was uncomfortable as it was two singles pushed together so gap in middle. beautiful breakfast every morning with great veggie options
