Cliftonville sits on Margate's seafront, where the beach and coastal walks are minutes away on foot. Debenham Lodge is an eight-bedroom property arranged over three floors, sleeping up to 17 people, and available as a whole-property rental. Each bedroom has its own ensuite shower room; bedrooms vary between double, kingsize and bunk configurations. The ground floor holds a living room with Freeview Smart TV, a dining room opening onto the garden, and a kitchen equipped for full meal preparation. There's also a games room with dartboard and PlayStation 5, plus a separate shower room.
The enclosed garden has patio furniture and a charcoal barbecue for outdoor entertaining. Essentials including electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are covered in the price. One pet can stay free of charge. The property does not permit smoking. Check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00. On-road parking is available, and there's a bike store on site.

Our getaway at Debenham Lodge was absolutely outstanding. This beautiful property exceeded all our expectations and deserves every star. The accommodation itself is immaculate. The open-plan living and dining area is spacious and filled with natural light, and the fully-equipped kitchen is brilliant if you want to cook rather than eat out constantly. What really sets Debenham Lodge apart is the games room and bar in the garden outbuilding. It became the heart of our social time - pool table, darts, board games, and somewhere to unwind without disturbing bedrooms. The garden and terrace are lovely too, great for morning coffee and evening drinks. The owner clearly cares about maintaining the property to high standards. Everything worked properly, the place was spotless, and the attention to detail made a real difference to our stay. If you're looking for quality accommodation for a group, family reunion, or celebration, this is it. Highly recommended.

We had such a lovely stay at Debenham Lodge. The property itself felt like a home away from home, it had everything we could possibly need to enjoy our stay. As a host Kate was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for her, she was on hand at all times should we have a problem, which obviously we didn’t. The area is nice and perfect for what we wanted from our stay. We would 100% return for another stay in the very near future.

We had a wonderful stay at Debenham Lodge. The house is large and warm, and we felt at home there. The house is not a new build, its not clean lined and pristine, it is however a large Victorian house which holds its charm and originality which is very prevalent to that era. Infact, it's something that we all loved with our time spent there. It was a welcomed surprise to have the privilege to stay somewhere that is not ruined by modernality. Thankyou Kate, we will be back next year, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Debenham Lodge.

Kate was a great host, ensured we had all the information we needed. The house was clean and spacious, such a bonus everybody having an en-suite and all being able to have hot showers at the same time. It was a multi generational celebration and everybody from age 6-76 had a great time. It’s perfect for large groups and we’ve had a brilliant weekend. We would definitely go back. Thank you
