Looking for a peaceful spot in the Lincolnshire countryside? Travelling without the kids? Got your Caravan and Motorhome Club membership sorted? Then you're all set for a break at Otby House Farm Certificated Location, tucked into a quiet corner of the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape between Caistor and Market Rasen.
This adults-only CL has just a handful of non-electric grass pitches, all reserved for CAMC members only. That means plenty of space to relax and soak up the scenery at this pretty working farm site. Perched at the second-highest point of the Wolds, you'll be treated to sweeping views that stretch for about 20 miles on a clear day, excellent stargazing after dark, and regular wildlife sightings. The setup is fairly simple – no hookups beyond a chemical disposal point – so you can truly switch off, though do expect some farm traffic noise, especially during harvest season.
There's trout fishing on site and easy access to the Viking Way for walkers. Further afield, plan outings to Lincoln, Cleethorpes or the seals of Donna Nook, or simply wander a couple of miles into Tealby for a popular pub, tearoom and village shop.

One of the best getaways weve ever had. The boat house was immaculate and had everything we need. No fishermen on our stay either so we had the whole place to ourselves. The hosts were a whattsap away if we needed them and were so welcoming and friendly and helpful. We would definitely re-visit Otby

Odd review as it’s the first, but it’s for the Boat House that we rented for the weekend. All I can say about it is wow! Absolutely incredible from the moment we arrived. A stunning private lake (only used by fisherman on our last day for a matter of hours), a tow boat, a fantastic wood fired sauna and an incredible accommodation consisting of wood burner, full kitchenette, comfortable bedroom and clean bathroom. Absolutely NO WiFi, NO Tv so completely shut off from the world and that’s what we needed! Can’t wait to come back for another weekend…and we will be booking!

We had a fantastic 2-night stay at Otby House Farm Caravan Site in our caravan, Benson. From start to finish, the whole experience was excellent. The booking process was smooth and professional, with one of the best pre-arrival information we’ve ever received, detailed directions, site access, pitching instructions, and plenty of local information. Contactless check-in worked perfectly, and contact details were always provided in case we had any questions. The site itself is tidy, peaceful, and well maintained. There are 5 good-sized, level grass pitches with stunning views across the Lincolnshire countryside towards Lincoln. Even though we live in Lincolnshire, it felt like we’d escaped to another county! Facilities were clear and well signposted, although we did have to double-check where to empty grey water as this wasn’t marked. We enjoyed a lovely walk along the Viking Way to The Kings Head in Tealby, a proper country walk with rolling Wolds scenery. The site is quiet, with only the occasional car or farm vehicle passing by (understandable at this time of year with harvest). Mobile/data signal was decent too, around 40mbps on EE 4G, more than enough for streaming if needed. It was also nice to meet Neil and learn more about the farm. Overall, this is a brilliant CS site for those who enjoy peace, views, and walking straight from the pitch. We’re already looking forward to returning soon.
