Oakwell Lodge

Gillingham sits on the Medway estuary with the Kent coast within reach. Oakwell Lodge is a detached single-storey property here, designed for straightforward access and comfort. Everything happens on ground level: an open-plan living space with a wood burner and patio doors onto decking, a separate dining area, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. A utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. The bedroom holds a double and a single bed. A walk-in shower serves the bathroom. Parking for one car sits on the property itself.

The lodge sleeps three and comes as your own space—no shared facilities, no other guests. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, along with logs for the burner. The kitchen has an electric oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Outside, an enclosed garden provides a patio, furniture, a chimenea and a barbecue. A travel cot is available if needed. One pet is welcome. The no-smoking policy applies throughout.

The town itself has the Royal Engineers Museum and All Saints Church. Riverside Country Park runs along the Medway nearby, offering walking routes and open green space. The coast is a short drive away. Check-in is after 15:00; departure before 10:00.
