What visitors say
A clean and generally well run Odeon cinema which is in a fantastic location by the river. I only live a short walk away, however I only frequent this place once in a blue moon. The reason being is the seats! It's crazy that a new(ish) cinema in 2026 doesn't have any recliners! Due to my height and build I struggle to sit comfortably in a regular seat for an entire film. (Especially a long one) As such I prefer to travel to the Vue at Cheshire Oaks or the luxe cinema in Warrington. Both of which are fully equipped with recliners that are much more comfortable and enhance the overall experience of visiting the cinema. With only 5 screens I don't understand why they didn't build Odeon Northwich to be a luxe cinema like Warrington. I for one would stay local all the time if this was the case. Unfortunately as it stands, I would much rather travel to a cinema with recliners so I can enjoy a film in comfort. Sorry Northwich. If not for the seating situation, it's a really good local cinema that I'd love to support more. Hopefully they will consider installing recliners in at least one of their screens in the near future.

I had a great experience at this cinema! The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond. Without me even having to ask, they kindly offered to look after my pram. When we first entered, it was a bit dark, and my 4-year-old got scared and started crying. The staff quickly turned the lights up to help him feel more comfortable, which made a huge difference. He settled in and ended up really enjoying the film. I really appreciated their thoughtfulness and excellent customer service.

Took my 10 yr old daughter and 8 yr old niece to watch 'Faraway Tree' last week, film was great, they loved it but why on earth was it so loud. There was absolutely no need to have the sound that loud. I actually witnessed a lady asking someone who worked there if they had any ear defenders for her child as the sound level was too much for her child. It does make me wonder if there is a safe dB level for children in a cinema.

So hot. You would think they would have Aircon. Well they don't. Take a personal fan and water. Toilets were not great. Seats were plastic so stuck to them and you feel cramped. Not a lot of space. I recommend going in winter as it gets hot (can't express enough how uncomfortable it was, it detracts from the film). I also recommend parking on Asda multi car park so you are straight at it and it's free as most other car parks are pay and display. Bring a little back pack and while you are at Asda car park go into Asda and grab some drinks and save a few quid before you go in. 😉
