Northwich sits in the heart of Cheshire's salt country, a working town with good transport links and rural edges. Eaton Barn is a substantial converted agricultural building on the outskirts, a private rental sleeping eight across four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The ground floor holds a living room with woodburner and smart TV, a separate dining room, and a kitchen fitted with a range cooker, dishwasher and everything else needed for proper cooking. Upstairs—reached via open-tread spiral stairs—are two further bedrooms, each a zip-and-link king (convertible to twin beds on request), plus another bathroom with both bath and shower.
One of the bedrooms is en-suite; the other two share a second bathroom. The property comes furnished and ready: bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, heating and electricity are all included. There's an enclosed walled garden with decking and sitting-out furniture, a barbecue, and a private hot tub built for eight. Parking is available for four cars. The barn suits families and small groups after genuine privacy; smoking is not permitted inside. One dog is welcome. Arrival is after 3pm, departure before 10am.

Amazing time. They send detailed directions along with all relative information. The cottage was stunning and had everything you'd expect along with a few extras like the lavender pouch and welcome note on arrival, travel shampoo, conditioner etc and robes so we didn't freeze when exiting the hot tub. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing break. Chester is a short 30 minute drive and I was in love with it from the get go. As we had never been and wanted to explore we purchased a downloadable treasure trail with is fun within itself but also sends you to cheaters landmarks like the Roman gardens, amphitheatre and the clock tower and to top it off we went to Chester zoo which was great.

Just returned home from spending a week in Eton Barn. What a wonderful experience. Top notch accommodation with the most comfortable beds imaginable. My party of 8 had plenty of room, and the private hot tub was great. A very warm welcome from Harriet made our stay very enjoyable. A return visit is on the cards.

We had an amazing stay in the Garden Cottage. The grounds and gardens are worth it alone. Beautifully kept and a very relaxing environment. Thank you for a lovely weekend and helping us celebrate my mums birthday
