About Farletonview
Farletonview is a tiny, family-run site on a working farm where every hardstanding pitch comes with sweeping views over Farleton Knott and the fells beyond. Five minutes from Junction 36 of the M6, it's perfectly placed for exploring the southern Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales or North Lancashire, yet you're just a 10-minute drive from Milnthorpe's shops and services.
Keen anglers will appreciate the on-site fly-fishing lake operating catch-and-release (permits available), while the tearoom serves homemade soup, sausage rolls and cakes to refuel after a day out. There's also a plant nursery if you fancy taking home a few cottage-garden perennials. The local pub is a 20-minute walk, or you'll find plenty of inns and takeaways within easy driving distance.
Facilities include good accessible bathrooms with spacious showers and toilets, plus a washing-up station and motorhome service point. The site welcomes dogs year-round, though some visitors note the shower block can feel a little tired in places.

An oasis of calm, good food, lovely people & views in an increasingly mad world ! Nursery with good selection of healthy plants. Outdoor seating areas. Dog friendly. Walks (please be considerate to the anglers & wildlife). Family run business. The marquee in the photo was the serving area during the COVID19 pandemic ~ well done to the owners for weathering the storm! Open 🐣 Easter to October.

Absolutely fantastic site . Brilliant greeting on arrival , owners extremely friendly & helpful . Toilets lovely & clean . The shower rooms outstanding ! Very quiet & peaceful site . The views were beautiful. Definitely 10/10 Frank the owner very helpful on arrival & during our stay . We had good chats with him he is a proper lovely gentleman. The whole family made us feel very welcome & were all lovely . Thank you for a wonderful weekend. Only came home 1 day early because of our great Cumbrian weather ! (Those that know .... know) ! Will definitely be back again . A+++++
