What guests say
I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn on Tongwell Street, Milton Keynes, and had a great experience. The service was brilliant, especially from Chloe. She quickly recognised that our group was deaf and that we were visiting for a stag weekend. She took the time to explain everything clearly, including the hotel's facilities, Wi-Fi access, and the fire alarm alert device available for deaf guests. Her helpfulness and awareness made us feel very welcome and well looked after. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was very comfy, making for a great night's sleep. As an added bonus, there's a Harvester directly opposite the hotel, which was really convenient. I would highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

I had a fantastic stay at Holiday Inn Express Milton Keynes and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The location is ideal, especially for work trips, and everything about the service exceeded expectations. The team were incredibly professional, friendly, and always willing to help, which made a real difference throughout my stay. Breakfast was truly outstanding – a great selection and very well presented, with staff on hand to ensure everything ran smoothly. It was easily one of the highlights of my visit. My room had clearly been recently updated and was spotless, modern, and extremely comfortable. After long workdays, it was the perfect place to unwind. Despite arriving very late for check-in, the whole process was completely stress-free and handled efficiently by the team, which I really appreciated. Overall, this was a genuinely enjoyable and seamless experience. A massive well done to the incredible team of professionals who made my stay so easy and relaxing. I will definitely be returning!

I would like to share my review of our stay here from 27/6/26 to 29/6/26. We arrived at 11am on Saturday morning, we rung up prior to arriving & when we got there, they very kindly let us check in 4 hours earlier than normal as my partner & I were attending an event at MK Dons Stadium (SMK Live). The room as soon as we entered smelled very fresh & the bed was surprisingly very comfy so pretty much slept fine. The breakfast was ok too, was very needed & filled me up especially as I'm not usually a breakfast person back home. Thank you guys for making our stay fab!

Where to begin! The staff on the front desk (yes, it's a manned front desk!) were pleasant, always said a cheery "good morning" and were always available. The included breakfast had a good choice and, despite the temperature of the "hot" food being lukewarm, it tasted good. As I have disabilities we booked an accessible room. I liked that the door to the room had three levels of peep holes to enable wheelchair users to view out. The room was mostly clean and tidy and so was the bathroom. The sink in the bathroom had a grim smell of mold emanating from either the drain or the overflow. The chair that accompanied the small table had some dodgy looking stains on the seat. Whilst my husband was at work I stayed at the hotel and kept myself busy. Around 12.30pm someone from maintenance (I'm assuming as he had a keycard and was wearing a dark polo) barged into my room, without knocking, saw me, stopped in his tracks and announced he was in the wrong room. I'd say so! Thankfully, I'd decided to wait to shower, otherwise he'd be having nightmares for weeks. There was no apology from him. Perhaps he should get his glasses changed so he can see the correct room numbers. I wish we'd read the 1 star reviews thoroughly before booking. Not only were the beds like sleeping on concrete, but there was a winter duvet on the bed in the middle of summer (and a heatwave). The inept air con unit left me with a migraine. It was so loud that it was like sleeping in the engine compartment of an idling diesel bus. It broke through ear plugs and earphones. Location wise, it's in a strange, but useful, place! The hotel sits at the far end of a business park. There is a Harvester the other side of the car park which is, by far, the best one we've ever been to. The hotel did appear to serve food, however, we weren't told about this on arrival. Overall, I really think this location is ready for an upgrade. Faded carpets and blood stains on the nets dont warrant the price that we paid.
