About Novotel Milton Keynes
Xscape's shops and entertainment are close by, Bletchley Park is within reach for a day exploring wartime history, and the M1 makes the wider area easy to access by car. Novotel Milton Keynes gives visitors a straightforward base for all of it, with free on-site parking for anyone arriving by road.
The 124 rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable beds and en-suite bathrooms, and family rooms and accessible rooms are available, though some rooms show their age rather than feeling freshly refurbished. Air conditioning, room service and laundry service are all on offer, and there's a lift serving the hotel's three floors. Guests can unwind in the indoor swimming pool, sauna and gym, or make use of the garden and outdoor seating when the weather allows.
Breakfast is a particular strength, and the restaurant, bar and snack bar cover meals throughout the day, with packed lunches and kids' meals available for families. Staff are attentive and helpful, and the hotel also has meeting rooms and business facilities for those travelling with work in mind. Pets are welcome, and golf, fishing and entertainment options nearby round out the choices for time away from the room.
What guests say
Hotel rooms large and well laid out. Good quality bathroom products Gym and pool small but well equipped and clean. Reception, welcoming, efficient and helpful Dining room for breakfast on Saturday was excellent and well stocked. Sunday was busier, and the staff seemed to have difficulties replenishing crockery and food items. There seemed to be lacking a little guidance. Food quality was very good. I didn't use the bar other than to get coffee on Sunday morning, was only disappointed that it was served in cups but not presented with saucers. On the whole we enjoyed our stay and will recommend. We stayed as a family group of 9.

We booked a weekend stay for 5 families. The hotel accomodated all of us and was nice of them to book the pool for our group only (18 people). The staffs were very helpful in booking the pool, checking in and out. Good selection for breakfast buffet too. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Cool space for kids to hang out in the foyer.

Good things I liked: Plenty of parking. Location easy to get to. Bedding clean and selection of firm or soft pillows. Bar experience was good. They put my food onto a tray as ordered. It was a good place if you just needed a no-thrills place to stay, I would not rate it 3 star on this visit. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy my stay. The room carpeting was filthy and not even cleaned. The shower unit drain mechanism handle was not working, so I had to manually actuate the drain by lifting it manually. The free internet was very slow and not really useful other than checking emails, forget it if you want to watch something without constant buffering. Front desk was NOT always staffed... When someone did finally turn up, the foreign worker seemed to make the process of ordering a drink a fiasco. (They must have been new) In the end it took over 5+ minutes so i just walked away. I don’t think I will return here, I think as a paying customer I should have received a better service.
