Northfield Hotel

This is a gem of a hotel - we had a wonderful 3 night stay, and loved everything about it! The hotel is beautiful, with an old- fashioned feel to it, and it reminded me of childhood holidays in traditional English seaside hotels. The food is superb - we had lovely breakfasts, but also, the evening dinner menu is an absolute bargain, and the quality of the food far surpassed our expectations - it is all homemade, and better than many pricey restaurants we've been to. We used the indoor pool each morning - small, but clean and warm. There's also a gym, jacuzzi and steam room if that's your thing! The gardens are a little overgrown, but beautiful, and we spent a few hours there in the sun with a drink. Even better than all of the above, are the amazing staff....from the cleaners and waitresses to reception and management, they are an absolute credit to the hotel. They are all so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. During our stay, another guest had an emergency, and she was supported and helped with such kindness. We wish we had been able to stay longer, but we will definitely be back! Thankyou! x

Stayed last week with my Sister in a twin bedded room. Room was large & had a sea view, also comfortable sofa & chairs. The bowl of fruit provided was a nice touch. The bathroom was large & had a bath & excellent shower in it. We didn't have breakfast, so didn't meet many staff, but we were helped by a lady we believe is called Tracey- she was friendly & efficient.

Superb hotel situated in a quiet residential street with its own large carpark. All the staff welcoming and friendly. Hotel is set in grounds which includes a large garden to walk around or sit and enjoy. The room was well serviced,clean and bed very comfortable Food was superb whether you had cooked breakfast or evening meal. Hotel has a swimming pool and a steam room which was spotless. Definitely will choose The Northfield Hotel again for my next stay

It was a great relaxing stay, I had not had a holiday in a long time and never been in the area and I do definitely want to go there again. Staff was kind and understanding and the swimming pool is a very nice perk :)!
