What visitors say
Came to see Wuthering Heights earlier this week and stopped by Costa to grab a drink, the girl working on the bar (I think her name was Quanisha?) was so so lovely, went above and beyond to make my coffee just the way I like it, and she was incredibly polite. It made my experience a lot better. Will definitely be back soon!

It was my first visit and I had such an awful experience. I went to watch mortal kombat in screen 9 at 8:45pm. The screen was tiny and hard to see from the back especially when the screen goes dark you have to squint to see whats going on. It didnt even extend to the end of the room. The volume in the screen is so silent even someone’s sneeze was louder than the movie. None of the speakers on the right side of the room were working at all so all of the volume only seemed to be going in my left ear. I couldnt eat my popcorn and watch at the same time as I was struggling to hear what the movie was saying. Moving onto the food the popcorn didnt have much flavour. We got the mixed popcorn and couldnt even taste the salt in the popcorn it had a slight butter taste thats all and the sweet popcorn was ever so slightly flavoured. The nachos were decent but the jalapenos had not much spice/taste to it. It was a waste of money spent on this experience as I didnt even enjoy my food or the movie properly because of the above situation. To make it even worse the chairs were uncomfortable. The ladies toilets were dirty and most of them were missing toilet roll. It would be better with a bigger car park but just from this experience I am put off from visiting again.

I haven't been here for years, we went March 6th 2026 to see Mothers Pride. On arrival I got the last available parking spot which annoyed me as I dislike busy cinemas. Inside the main entrance was deserted, the ticket counter is gone. The pub to the right is closed down and the interior is partly demolished but on full view through the glazed doors. On the upper floor is one counter serving food, drinks and tickets which I thought was weird. Tickets at a food counter 🤷🏻. Apart from the gentleman serving and a cleaner loitering in a corner, we were the only two people there. We bought deluxe seats and headed in. Again we were the only two people throughout the entire film, which was mediocre at best. As the credits rolled the cleaner pushed his cart in with it's squeaky wheel and waited while all two of us exited, that guy must have been bored to tears. Back in the foyer there was a grandma and a very loud child having a paddy, the only other people we saw. It turns out the carpark was full because there was a football match next door. The new cinema and bowling complex in the town centre shopping mall is destroying this Odeon. It was quite sad to see.
