Aurora occupies the first floor of a building in Lossiemouth, a former fishing town on the Moray Firth. Its name references the northern lights, which can occasionally be seen across the water here. The apartment is set back from the seafront but close enough that you can reach the beach on foot, and parking for two cars sits directly outside.
Inside, the open-plan living space contains a kitchen fitted with a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and washing machine, plus a dining and sitting area with Smart TV. Two bedrooms, each with zip-and-link beds and their own television, occupy the rest of the floor; one has an ensuite shower, and the other connects to a family bathroom with a bath and separate shower. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. No smoking is permitted.
Lossiemouth sits on two sandy beaches and has a museum documenting its fishing heritage, alongside cafés and restaurants serving local seafood. Moray Golf Club, with two links courses, is a short walk away. RAF Lossiemouth lies nearby for those interested in aircraft, and several whisky distilleries are within driving distance. The town suits couples, small families and groups of friends looking for a coastal base in northeast Scotland.
