Lossiemouth Bay Caravan Park

We had a great time at Silver sands caravan park in Lossiemouth. Our caravan was spotless and very roomy. All the staff were very nice and nothing was too much bother. We had a few meals at the restaurant, which were very good. I would recommend it to anyone. Thanks to all at Silver Sands for making our holiday special.

Had a4 day break in a gold2 caravan with decking oh my god I will never return place was filthy toilets all stained floor all crumbs cushions on pull down sofa covered in brown liquid thought it looked like curry stain but not sure no wi was not working on first night the place was crawling I have never in my life saw as much ants crawling around the caravan on the floors on carpets on table on worktops took photos of them running around omg no exaggeration disgusting me my son bc and disabled partner were just going to leave in morning the ants were crawling in rooms toilets haven’t in my life saw such big ants could not settle one even crawled along my tshirt when I awoke in morning disgusting on last day at 5 in morning my14 year old son woke feeling ill he was sick and hot so we had to leave by 10 but he was still being sick in a bucket at about8 I9 I went to reception a woman sitting behind counter the receptionist I told her my predicament and got no help whatsoever she said oh u will have to be out I’ll give u an extra half hour we have the caravan booked for a week someone’s going in there at 2 o’clock today 29 th may2026 it’s only gold one we have with decking she didn’t even offer me another night to stay in another caravan I mean my son was ill and I was just wanting to get him a little bit better he had to sit with disregard and sickness all way home 130 miles away never in a million years would I ever go back disgusting ants under all chairs couch everywhere how could I possibly relax we sat in the back room and put lots of salt at the doors but the infestation was bad took videos and pictures of them can’t beleive my break away got ruined a waste of 100 pound petrol and500 pounds for 4 nights in the caravan will be taking this further disgusting place staff unfriendly only one girl keeley was nice wrote down on the Tuesday morning how to get wi fi the night before the girl at reception around4 o’clock no help at all just rushed in gave us keys and not very welcoming disaster

Pretty basic caravan, heating system bit poor if come in cold weather times. No any extra curriculum activities no swimming pools or play park for kids.

Good but no facilities for kids to play around the caravan site.
