Dalroddie
Moray
The Drummuir Estate spreads across rural Moray, a landscape of working land and quiet corners between Dufftown and the coast. Dalroddie is a detached house that began life as a farm manager's home, set back from the public road onto an estate track with walking routes starting from the front door. The surrounding grounds include garden furniture and parking for three cars.
Inside are three bedrooms—a kingsize, a double, and two singles—and two bathrooms. The ground floor holds a living room with a wood burner (fuel included), a kitchen with electric oven and hob, dishwasher and fridge, a dining area, a study, and a utility room with washing machine. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered; heating is oil-fired central. Dogs stay free, and one is welcome to join you.
The location works for several kinds of trip. Dufftown is close by with its distilleries, golf course, and access to longer walking routes like the Speyside Way and the Cairngorms. The Moray Coast lies within reach—sandy beaches at places like Lossiemouth and Cullen, and boat trips to spot dolphins. Castles dot the region: Auchindoun is nearby, Ballindalloch a short drive, and Balmoral roughly an hour and a quarter away. Or simply stay put in the garden and watch the wildlife. No smoking inside the property.
