About The Coquetvale Hotel
An indoor swimming pool is not something you expect from a 14-room hotel, but The Coquetvale Hotel on Station Road in Morpeth has one, along with a sauna and gym for guests who want to make more of their stay than a bed for the night. The property occupies a manageable scale that suits both quick overnight stops and longer breaks in Northumberland.
Rooms come with air conditioning, free WiFi and drinks available in-room, and the hotel has a lift for guests who prefer not to use stairs. There's a restaurant and bar on site for meals without needing to head out, and breakfast is included as part of the stay. A garden gives some outdoor space to sit, and porter and concierge services are on hand for anything guests need sorting during their visit.
The hotel also operates as a wedding venue, and pets are welcome for those travelling with dogs. Free on-site parking is available, useful given the Morpeth location, and luggage storage means early arrivals or late departures aren't a problem. It's a straightforward base for exploring the town and the wider county beyond it.
