The Isle of Lewis draws visitors for its remote landscapes, archaeological sites and wildlife, and Fisherman's Cottage sits in South Lochs, roughly midway between Tarbert and Stornoway. The detached property has been restored and comes with parking for two cars on site, plus an enclosed garden with decked seating area. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and heating are included, and the woodburner is stocked with logs.
The ground floor holds an open-plan living space with a 40-inch television, woodburner and French doors to the garden, plus a kitchen equipped for full self-catering with electric cooking, dishwasher and laundry appliances. Bedroom 1, a double, has an en-suite shower room. Upstairs are two further bedrooms—a second double and a third with twin singles—served by a bathroom with a bath. The cottage sleeps 6 and is yours alone for the duration of your stay. No smoking indoors.
From here, Lews Castle and the Lewis Chessmen at its museum are under an hour away, as are the Callanish Standing Stones and Carloway Broch. Harris Distillery lies to the south in Tarbert. The white sand beaches of the Outer Hebrides are within reach, and boat trips operate from local harbours for wildlife spotting and trips further afield to St Kilda.
