The Summer House comes complete with everything needed for a self-catering break. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, along with initial fuel for the wood burner. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. You get the whole property to yourself, with parking for two cars and a private sauna.
Built by local architects to echo the traditional Airidh—a historic Lewis summer shelter—this two-bedroom house sits on one level, designed to blend into the countryside while making the most of the landscape beyond. The open-plan living space has a wall of glazing looking out towards the loch and mountains, with patio doors opening onto decking. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed and ensuite; the second has a zip-and-link kingsize (or two singles on request) with a walk-in shower across the hall. A wood burner and Freeview Smart TV are in the living area. One pet is welcome. The property is near the Achmore Stone Circle and makes a base for exploring the wider Outer Hebrides.

What guests say
We had a lovely week and fantastic time on Isle of Lewis and Harris, especially because of The Summer House, which has a superb view, good located, close to all the touristic attractions, dog friendly, we had a welcoming package, and the house has a highly romantic and intimate atmosphere, for couples we would recommend to stay and unwind, recharge, and enjoy the quiet peaceful surroundings.❤️🐾
