What visitors say
Lovely tidal swim pool I swam with my daughter amazing I wished I lived closer I would go lots! All clean and tidy with stone benches to put swim bags on and remember your changing robe for changing as no changing facilities only disabled I think. Very friendly swimmers giving us local info.

This is a lovely little lake, full of wildlife, with model boating enthusiasts enjoying it. Visited on a bright and sunny December morning which shows it in all its glory, if a tad chilly from the wind. There's also skateboard/BMX area to enjoy but unfortunately I left mime at home 😉 Ample free parking on the beach road leading to the Lido, which unsurprisingly, was closed today.

I have been a few times and it’s great especially for kids. Have taken a paddleboard out and while not massive is a fun calm area to paddle around and swim in. The parking can get very busy and not a lot of local options so would suggest arriving early as a few times have had to space stall for a while before getting a space. Water is a little murky but is clean and a little warmer than the ocean would be.

People say this marine lake is a fantastic, free facility for swimming, paddleboarding, and other water sports, with clean seawater and varying depths. Visitors also highlight the family-friendly atmosphere, convenient nearby parking, and readily available food and drink options. They also appreciate the beautiful views and the welcoming, friendly community vibe.
