This campsite is well placed about 20 minutes walk from Hamble, which has a grocers shop, pubs and cafes and a regular bus service to Southampton. The site is level and grassy. The touring pitches feel a little cramped and would feel more so if it was busy. The facilities have toilets with sinks and showers with sinks. The shower temperature isn't adjustable and they were in need of an upgrade but they were okay in warm weather. There is a kitchen with laundry facilities and washing up sinks. We were told to arrive between 13.00 and 18.00 but when we arrived at 14.00 we were dealt with by a member of staff disgruntled because we had disturbed his lunch! A better reception would improve the start of anyone's holiday.

Nice quiet site next to the marina and a small static caravan park attached. Showers and toilets ok although you may have to wait for a shower. Massive car park attached to marina which you can get to via a walkway. Not far from Hamble village, a few minutes in a car and about 15 mins walk.

Lovely campsite, spacious, peaceful and great location. Wandered into Hamble what a lovely riverside town with multiple pubs, watersports and cafes, would come again
