Between the forest and the sea

Between the forest and the sea sits on the edge of the New Forest, where the landscape shifts from woodland to coastline. The village of Old Milton wraps around it—a short walk brings you to shops, cafes and pubs, while Barton-on-Sea beach is fifteen minutes on foot. The property itself is ground floor only, with an open-plan kitchen, dining and living space that looks onto a lawned garden with patio and barbecue.

There are two bedrooms and one shower room. The first bedroom has a double bed, a single, and a pull-out single; the second has a single and another pull-out single. This flexible setup sleeps up to five. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with a travel cot and highchair if needed. There is parking for two cars on site and a shared garden with the owner, fenced on one side for privacy.

The New Forest itself is within easy reach for walks and cycling among free-roaming ponies and cattle. Moors Valley Country Park offers bike hire and climbing activities. Further afield are Adventure Wonderland, The Oceanarium in Bournemouth, Beaulieu Motor Museum and ferry trips to the Isle of Wight. The property does not permit smoking.
