About Ocean Heights Leisure Park

Perched above Cardigan Bay with sweeping coastal views, Ocean Heights Leisure Park combines beautifully maintained grounds with a genuine sense of occasion. The on-site clubhouse serves up excellent food – the Sunday lunch draws particular praise – while both indoor and outdoor pools give you swimming options whatever the Welsh weather throws at you. Friendly staff keep a full calendar of family events running throughout the season, from entertainment nights to tournaments on the tennis courts.

It's a well-rounded park that manages to feel relaxed rather than regimented, with enough facilities (games room, takeaway, launderette) to make longer stays comfortable. The location puts you within easy reach of New Quay's harbour and dolphin-watching boats, with public transport connections nearby for car-free exploration of the Ceredigion coast.

Excellent place to stay. The only thing is that visiting places other than New Quay, you need to travel 30 minutes plus. Not many places nearby.

ChatGPT You said: Write better 5 star review: Beautiful place to visit. Perfect getaway for families, couples or friends located very close to Newquay. The grounds are well kept by Lyndon and his team. The bus stops outside the site and to Newquay, which takes you a couple of minutes or short trip to Aberaeron. There is a lovely club house at Ocean Heights and the park always entertains our kids. The staff are wonderful and you always receive a great welcome. Personally, a stand out member of staff is Danny, always so kind, welcoming, fun and our kids adore him. The best bingo caller around :) There is a calendar of events taking place and there is a great mix of entertainment for adults and kids, not too much which provides us with the calm we love. The team who make the food are fantastic, I always have a great meal and Sunday lunch is a real treat. Lovely indoor and outdoor pool where we have made great memories and we have seen our kids confidence grow in the pool and make lots of memories. For us going to Ocean heights is exactly what the doctor ordered and we always have the best time.... ChatGPT said: Here’s a polished version of your review — still warm and personal, but flowing more smoothly and with a little extra sparkle for a 5-star impression: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Ocean Heights is an absolute gem! It’s the perfect getaway whether you’re a family, couple, or group of friends, with Newquay just minutes away. The grounds are beautifully maintained by Lyndon and his team, and it’s so handy having a bus stop right outside the park for quick trips into Newquay or Aberaeron. The park itself is always welcoming, with a lovely clubhouse and plenty to keep the kids entertained. The staff really make the difference here – every visit feels special thanks to their warmth and friendliness. A special shout-out to Danny, who our children absolutely adore – he’s kind, fun, and hands down the best bingo caller around! There’s a great calendar of events with just the right balance of entertainment for both kids and adults, which means we get to enjoy the calm, relaxing atmosphere we love. The food is another highlight – always delicious, with Sunday lunch being a real treat. The indoor and outdoor pools have given us so many wonderful family memories, and it’s been amazing to see our children grow in confidence while splashing about. For us, Ocean Heights truly feels like a home away from home. Every visit leaves us feeling recharged, happy, and grateful for the memories we’ve made. Exactly what the doctor ordered! Booked a platinum caravan.... certainly wasn't platinum. Honestly felt like they treated our booking as a last minute one and chucked us in anything that was available (even though we booked this 8 months ago). I hoovered and white dog hair was gathering in clumps which makes me think a hoover had never seen that carpet. The hoover also stunk. A pack of mouldy croissants were left there, 2 months out of date. We have a toddler who could have easily got to them. Chewed up sticky sweet on one of the bedroom floors. Hair (human and dog) in the creases of the sofas. The club house is ok, standard food and drinks. The one lad working there clearly isn't made for working in hospitality, I've had more conversation with a tree. The lady who booked us in was lovely, I cannot fault her. The only good thing about this site is it's location, 5 minutes drive to New Quay town. Won't be staying here again.
