Walking through The Cherry Tree's door, you're met with a generous living room anchored by a wood burner, where a sofa and dining table dominate the space. The kitchen beyond is fitted for proper cooking—electric range, American fridge freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine—rather than just heating things up. Ground floor also holds a utility room with washer dryer, and a separate toilet. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, along with logs for the burner.
Upstairs are five bedrooms across varying sizes: one super kingsize with ensuite and walk-in shower; one kingsize with ensuite; one double; one with two singles; one with bunks. A family bathroom with bath and shower serves the rest. The rear garden is fully enclosed, with patio, furniture, pergola and barbecue, while the front is laid to lawn. There's a games room with pool table and table tennis, bike storage, and parking for four cars on site. Travel cots and highchairs are available on request. No smoking throughout.
The village of Harby sits near Newark, with The Bottle & Glass pub close by. This works as a base for a large group—extended family, friends gathering for a celebration—wanting their own space and a proper kitchen to cook in, rather than eating out every night.

We had the most perfect stay celebrating a 60th birthday – the holiday home was absolutely beautiful, spotless, and had everything we needed for a special weekend including an amazing welcome pack. It made the celebration unforgettable and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! 🎉✨

If I could award more than 5 stars, I genuinely would. The Cherry Tree is the perfect luxury escape for any special occasion. It truly was the ideal accommodation for a wholesome hen party and 10 of us women thoroughly enjoyed the spacious yet cosy living area and stunning garden. The decor is so beautiful, it's spotlessly clean and the beds are some of the comfiest we've ever slept in! I even asked for the mattress details because I need it in my life! The owner, Sally, was so accommodating of our needs and promptly replied to any questions. I highly recommend using some of the suppliers Sally helpfully listed on the website too. I cannot praise it highly enough and will be revisiting in the future x
