What visitors say
No review of rooms as we stayed in our caravan. The site is extremely well laid out with loads of room for an awning. Ideal for a base to appreciate the lakes. However, the toilets are unbelievable, over the years I've stayed in loads of hotels and not many of them would have a bathroom as good as these. This is probably the best site we've been to in our limited time as caravan travellers, would thoughley recommend.

We arrived slightly late on a Friday evening, and were greeted in person by the gate. The chap was warm and welcoming, informative and funny. Half an hour after arrival we were pitched up and ready to relax. The site was easy to find and not far at all from the A590, with easy to navigate roads even with our 6 birth caravan. The site is superbly maintained, no litter anywhere, and the grounds are well kept but not too much so it all looks clinical, there is definitely a "you're in the wilderness" feel to the place which adds to the relaxation. Don't be surprised to see rabbits, squirrels or even pheasants casually strolling around the site. The play park for kids is large and includes things for younger kids also. The duck pond is serene With a nice bit of decking in one side with benches and a roof so you can relax by the pond rain or shine. Over all the service, aesthetics and location are all solid choices for a relaxing weekend away. The on site shop is well stocked and very well priced, it's pretty much the same prices as a regular corner shop

Stunning location with everything you could need. The kids had the space to be safe an free while the scenic placement of our caravan allowed is to relax taking in the calmness. If going i would well recommend a week or more stay as it is central to the lakes that we could of spent so much more exploring with a great base to chill. Staff were also so helpful even after having to save a lost duckling from our awning.

This place is absolutely stunning—surrounded by nature, with a beautiful pond full of wild ducks and birds. The walking trails are truly wonderful, and the facilities are clean and well-maintained. The only downside was the low water pressure in the showers. I know it might sound like a small thing, but WiFi and mobile signal were practically nonexistent. While internet access isn’t a top priority for us, it would have been nice—especially on rainy days when watching something with the kids or FaceTiming loved ones (like my elderly parents abroad) becomes more meaningful. Aside from that, this park is a little gem. Peaceful, scenic, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking to disconnect and enjoy nature.
