About Black Beck Farm
Tucked into the Cumbria village of Bouth, this tiny family-run farm site delivers on classic Lake District appeal: spectacular fell views, a peaceful atmosphere that reviewers praise as wonderfully quiet and relaxing, and clean, modern shower facilities that earn consistent mentions. The handful of dog-friendly glamping units share bathrooms with hot showers and handy electric points, all surrounded by those fabulous rural vistas that make the southern Lakes so magnetic.
Windermere and Coniston Water both lie about 10 minutes' drive away, putting walking, watersports and cycling right on the doorstep, while the village pub – serving local ales and hearty meals – is just a 10-minute stroll. Staff win praise for their welcoming, helpful approach, and the safe, relaxed setting makes it popular with families. Despite feeling delightfully remote, access is straightforward: the farm sits a mile and a half from the A590 and half an hour from Junction 36 of the M6.

What visitors say
Glorious 3 days spent unwinding and relaxing at Black beck farm. We had a glamping pod, with fire pit. The fire pit was great for cooking food and warming up the pod on a chilly night or morning. Looks like they have new wash and shower facilities. These we're clean and modern. The pod itself was big enough to sleep a family and a great base to explore all thats to offer on your doorstep. Anne and Neil are warm and welcoming. Would recommend

We've stayed at Black Beck Farm a few times now and find that every time we arrive we remember why we keep coming back. The views are stunning and the peace and quiet are a nice contrast to how busy Windermere and Bowness can be. Bouth, Ulverston, High Dam, Fell Foot park are all close by and lovely spots. If we ever need anything then Ann and Neil have always helped. Jamie, Sara, Lola and Ellie.

Stayed in Hilltop static caravan in early September. Lovely quiet site and comfortable, clean caravan, we (and our dog) had a memorable week there and were sorry to leave. Great views from the caravan and plenty of walks nearby. Friendly, helpful owners. Picked up mobile phone signal from the decking and occasionally inside the caravan. Great spot to explore the lakes Coniston and Windermere areas in particular, also Ulverston and coast.

Ann and Neil are the most superb camping hosts! We stayed with them en route up to Scotland, and they were so wonderful we are staying with them en route back home. The campsite itself is set in beautiful surroundings, has great, immaculate facilities and plenty of jaw dropping scenery minutes away.
