About Abbot Park Farm
Set on a 120-acre working farm within the Lake District, Abbot Park Farm offers both traditional camping pitches and rustic camping barns for those after a roof overhead. It's a genuinely family-run operation near Ulverston, where dogs are welcome to roam and kids can get a taste of farm life. The location strikes a nice balance—rural enough to feel peaceful, yet handy for exploring the southern Lakes and the Cumbrian coast.
Facilities are straightforward: decent showers, toilets, and drinking water, though there's no WiFi, which some will see as a bonus. With a strong 4.8 rating, guests clearly appreciate the friendly, no-fuss approach and the chance to wake up surrounded by proper countryside. It's not polished or fancy, but if you want an honest, down-to-earth Lake District base that doesn't take itself too seriously, this ticks the boxes.

We (2 adults and three children under 10) stayed at the camp site in August this year! We stayed in our tent on the site. The place is amazing! Carole is a fantastic host. The farm has amazing views and was located in the perfect area for us as a family that wanted a bit of ‘us time’! The pitch was clean and the farm had all the welfare facilities we needed (showers and toilets). The farm was tidy, friendly, picturesque and quiet! Thank you so much for a lovely time and we hope to come back in the future ❤️

It is an amazing place, we had one of the cottage’s for ourselves. The cottage have a big kitchen and dining all in one and the bedside upstairs all in one space so was amazing for the kids. Plenty of space outside for the kids to play. I will personally say is an amazing place and a great experience. They have a fireplace inside and they provide firewood.

Brilliant campsite. Spacious area for pitching, with hedges and trees for a bit extra protection. Facilities include a really nice shower and toilet. It's really nice and quiet, if that what you're looking for, this is perfect. And about a half an hour drive to Coniston
