About Afon Teifi Caravan and Camping
Fifteen acres of riverside meadow unfold along the Afon Teifi at this spacious, laid-back site a few minutes from the market town of Newcastle Emlyn. Campfires and barbecues are positively encouraged, and if you're handy with a rod, you can fish for trout, sea trout and salmon right from the banks – daily or weekly tickets are sold at reception. Kids have plenty of space to roam: there's a playing field, playground and games room with pool, table tennis and darts.
The site strikes a nice balance between facilities and natural simplicity. Free wifi was added a few summers back, there's a well-maintained toilet block with family washrooms, and both grass and hardstanding pitches are available. Dogs are welcome year-round. Reviewers consistently praise the friendly welcome and peaceful setting, though some note the facilities can feel a touch tired in places. Newcastle Emlyn's shops and pubs are close by, and the Cardigan Bay coast – with its cliffs, dolphins and castles – is only twenty minutes' drive.

Fantastic caravan and camping site. Really clean toilets and showers. Close by is a shallow river, perfect for padding, and further along kayaking, and fishing. Play area, dog walks, campfires allowed. Will definitely revisit!

Absolutely brilliant campsite. Family of 4, 2 adults, 2 children and a dog. There is something for the whole family on this campsite. Play area, games room, football pitch, dog walk and a river that’s safe to play in for all the family. Wardens on site, Andy and Lynn, are always welcoming and on hand to help with anything that’s needed. Toilet blocks are maintained to a very high standard and the site is always kept clean. Highly recommend this site to anyone.

We have just finished an amazing family holiday at this site. Andy and Lyn, the wardens were incredibly welcoming, very helpful, and maintain a great campsite. Great facilities, showers, washrooms, washing up areas, communal freezer, indoor games area for the kids. Andy really wants you to feel welcome and is incredibly helpful with anything you need, from advice on where to go for days out, to helping you with your pitch, he is constantly on the go around the site helping, and even does sports afternoons for the kids. Nothing is to much trouble. The site itself is fantastic, low key, relaxed, with a river on site for paddle boarding, canoeing, fishing, and plenty of space to play for kids and also a secure walking field for the dog. The site is very dog friendly. We highly recommend and will certainly be back!
