What visitors say
Highly recommend staying here. It's very still and peaceful and the views are stunning. We visited when it was very cold but the pod is very cosy. Separate kitchen, shower and toilets but everything is clean and well maintained.

We stayed for two nights in a Gorse Hill Glamping pod, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. Neil spotted us as we arrived and came out to greet us, showing wonderful hospitality from the start. The pod itself is incredibly cute and equipped with all the basic amenities. Despite my boyfriend being 1.95 meters tall, he slept comfortably in the bed, though the bed’s size might be something to consider for others. The atmosphere was cozy, and we loved having a fire pit, which was also perfect for setting up our instant BBQ. The location of our pod (Pod 1) was ideal, offering plenty of privacy. The shared facilities, including the toilet, shower, and kitchen, were all clean. The showers maintained a nice, consistent warm temperature. We also appreciated having our own designated parking spot, a dedicated shelf in the kitchen, and our own space in the fridge. It’s great that everything is so clearly organized. We were incredibly lucky with the beautiful sunny weather, which allowed us to hike in the Mourne Mountains and visit Newcastle. The walking trails are easily accessible from the accommodation. We would have loved to provide some suggestions for improvement, but honestly, there were none. You truly get value for your money here.

We Stayed here end of Feb 2025 as a weekend retreat. Arrived late after work and Neil was quick to greet us and show us around our cabin and facilities. It was a cold weekend but the little blow heater kept the room toasty fast. Showers where incredibly clean. You have your own shelf and fridge space for any food you bring. Neil is always on hand but never in the way and privacy across all 3 cabins placements are very well thought out. Short drive to spelga dam Newcastle Town and Tollymore Forrest all 3 of which we visited. Maghera inn was close for food. Would definitely stay again as the standard of cleanliness was perfect. No signal but that is exactly what was needed. The views are incredible.
