About Premier Inn Newport M4 J24
Premier Inn Newport M4 J24 suits travellers who need an easy, no-fuss stopover rather than a destination in itself, right at Coldra Junction on the edge of Newport. Its position by the motorway makes it a practical base for anyone driving through South Wales, breaking up a longer journey, or using Newport as a launchpad for the Wye Valley and Brecon Beacons.
The hotel has 81 rooms spread across three floors, all en-suite, with lift access and accessible rooms available. Free on-site parking is provided at the front of the building, including accessible bays next to reception, and 24 hour reception means arrival times are never a problem. A restaurant serves breakfast, and drinks can be ordered to the room, covering the basics without pretension.
Beyond the hotel there's plenty to occupy guests locally, with golf, fishing, horse riding and entertainment all nearby, along with a choice of pubs and restaurants for evening meals. It's a functional, reliably comfortable choice for road-trippers and business travellers passing through Newport rather than those seeking a characterful retreat.
Guests consistently praise this hotel for its clean rooms featuring cozy beds and reliable Wi-Fi, along with its convenient location near the M4. The friendly and helpful staff contribute to the great value for money experienced by visitors.
Some reviews mention the rooms can be hot due to the lack of air conditioning.
