About Coldra Court Hotel by Celtic Manor
Coldra Court Hotel by Celtic Manor is a spread-out, two-floor property on Chepstow Road in Newport, with 148 rooms giving it the feel of a substantial modern hotel rather than an intimate retreat. Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, room service and in-room drinks, and family and accessible rooms are available, with laundry service on hand for longer stays.
On site there's a restaurant and bar, breakfast service, and a leisure club with an indoor swimming pool, gym, spa and sauna, plus a hot tub. The hotel also has meeting rooms and space for weddings, a garden to sit out in, and on-site parking, though this is chargeable. Pets are welcome, which is worth knowing if you're travelling with an animal in tow.
The surrounding area offers golf and fishing nearby, along with pubs, restaurants and entertainment within easy reach, and the hotel is well placed for exploring Caerleon's Roman sites or heading into Cardiff. It's a practical base for both leisure stays and events, with the facilities to match.
