OYO Minerva Guesthouse

We would like to thank Margaret, Owen and their wonderful team. We stayed in room 10 at the start of our visit. Absolutely stunning. The room was spotless. Tea, coffee, fridge, milk and toiletries. The view was awesome. We then moved to room 18. Equally this room was spotless. It had tea, coffee, milk and a fridge. The shower was wonderful and it too had toiletries. The view obviously wasn't a sea view but we knew this. The breakfast was amazing. A wide range of breakfast refreshments. All served by a fantastic team. We will definitely book to stay again. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Excellent location and lovely lovely staff. We didn’t actually book for a sea view but the owner let us stay there which was a really beautiful surprise. The room was tip top organised and very clean. The staff working here are really compassionate and helpful with all guests, it’s amazing! Breakfast is extremely relaxed and feels homey like everything else does in this lovely place. The view is just the best you can wish for and you can see the sea and the colour changes of the sea and the sky, it’s really something else. Next time we’ll stay longer. We’ve had a great time here. A big thank you to all the staff and the owners of the guesthouse Margaret and Owen. 🍓🤍🍓

This hotel is very clean and has ceiling fans, which are great for the summer. It’s located very close to the beach—less than a 5-minute walk away. Margaret, the owner, is extremely lovely and friendly, and her son is just as friendly and great to talk to. ​Therefore, I highly recommend this hotel

Where do I start! Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. When we arrived to check in we were welcomed like we were old friends not guests! All week everyone was so friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel was spotless and our room was immaculate, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had a sea view (room 7) and wow what a view it was! The room had a large tv and a wall mounted fan (very much appreciated especially this week!) Tea and coffee were provided and the milk was in a little fridge beside the kettle. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in! The bathroom again was spotlessly clean and the shower was great! Shampoo, shower gel and hand wash were provided along with fresh towels daily should you want them. The dining room was lovely and the quality of the breakfast was fabulous. There were plenty of choices on offer, along with fruit juices, tea and coffee. The location of the hotel is excellent, with easy access to everything Newquay has to offer, making it the perfect base for a relaxing break. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, the attention to detail and the warm atmosphere really made our stay special. We would highly recommend the Minerva Hotel to anyone visiting Newquay. We will definitely be returning next year!!
