About Trevellis Bed and Breakfast
Trevellis Bed and Breakfast is a small, family-run property with just six rooms, set on Trebarwith Crescent in Newquay. It's an unfussy sort of place, built more for practicality than show, offering straightforward comfort rather than anything elaborate.
Rooms are simple and quiet, each with an en-suite bathroom, free WiFi and drinks provided, and there's a 24 hour reception for guests coming and going at odd hours. A cooked breakfast is included each morning, and packed lunches can be arranged for those heading out for the day. The décor keeps things plain and restful rather than decorative, which suits guests who want a comfortable base rather than a destination in itself.
Newquay's beaches and coastal paths are within easy reach, and the area around the B&B has plenty to fill the days, including golf, fishing, cycling routes and watersports nearby. There are also pubs, restaurants and entertainment close by for evenings out. It's a fair option for those wanting a no-frills stay near the Cornish coast.

What guests say
We have just returned from this wonderful place for the second time and that alone probably says a lot. We spent four days here over the Easter holidays in 2026, and once again, we absolutely loved every moment. We absolutely love this small, family-run B&B, and everything about it exceeds expectations. From the very first moment, you notice how thoughtfully everything is arranged. The rooms are spotless, and every little detail is carefully considered. The use of space is incredibly smart honestly, it feels even more ergonomic than a plane cabin (and maybe even a spaceship!). Everything is exactly where you need it, making your stay максимально comfortable and relaxing. But what truly makes this place special is Glyn himself. Breakfast here is not just “breakfast included” it’s a whole experience. Every morning Glyn personally comes to greet you, has a genuine chat, asks about your plans for the day, and offers helpful advice. And it’s not just small talk he really cares and wants to help you make the most of your time in Cornwall. His local knowledge is priceless. Whether you're planning to visit a charming artists’ town or explore hidden spots, he’ll guide you sometimes even suggesting smarter routes, like parking outside and taking a train to avoid busy holiday traffic. These tips make a huge difference, especially during peak season. This is what true hospitality feels like. Glyn welcomes you at the door and personally sees you off when you leave such a simple gesture, but it speaks volumes about his warmth and sincerity. We came back here by choice, and we will gladly recommend this place to everyone. It’s one of those rare places that truly elevates your trip where you can properly rest, recharge, and get ready for another beautiful day exploring Cornwall. An unforgettable stay, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again.

Fantastic B&B in a very good place of the town. The beach, pubs, supermarkets are close. The rooms are clean and you can ask everyday clean too, if you need. The host is an incredibly friendly, helpful and funny guy. Thank you Glynn for your hospitality!

We enjoyed our 5 night stay at Trevellis. You get what you pay for with this B&B, we had a small double room (room 2) with en-suite shower, tea and coffee making facilities and a very handy wardrobe. The B&B was very clean and our room was tidied to a high standard every day. Breakfast was nicely cooked and presented well. Personally I would have preferred a fresh grilled tomato as opposed to tinned ones, and the sausages weren't the best, but I guess that's what you get on a budget. Glyn, the owner, was very friendly and helpful and was more than happy to suggest things for us to do in Cornwall. Parking was an issue as there are a limited number of free spaces around the B&B and we spent a good 10 minutes waiting for a space. Of course there is the option to pay for the car park around the corner if you want to. The location could not be better, it is in the centre of town and all shops and restaurants are within walking distance as well as the beach which is practically on the door step. The famous Fistral beach is also a short walk away (it took us about 15-20 minutes) and the scenery along the way is beautiful! Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it to others.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay at Trevellis Bed & Breakfast. Super friendly, helpful hosts with plenty of recommendations and advice. Exceptionally clean facilities with social distancing measures in place and adhered to well. Lovely, fresh breakfast provided and daily housekeeping including fresh towels a nice touch. Will definitely visit again when in Newquay!
