What visitors say
We stayed here as our base to visit Norfolk for 4 nights. We were blessed with an amazing week of glorious weather. This made our lodge very warm which is not a negative as we would not expect AIr conditioning nor would we expect that it was necessary. Despite the high temperatures, sleeping was naturally a challenge, the area is absolutely safe and quiet. There is a swimming pool which in our hot temperatures was a great experience. We visited the olive tree bar / cafe and sampled happy hour. Did not get to use the bar as we were out and about and they had a technical issue (wasps nest) one night that caused its closure. From this location we were ideally located for a visit to Cromer and we hired a boat for a day on the Broads, and another afternoon we went paddle boarding. This is a great place to stay to be close to many brilliant places in Norfolk to visit. We booked our lodge through booking.com but I’m sure you can book directly also. Definitely consider this location if you want a base that you can drive from to many great Norfolk spots.

Had a great staycation for 5 days- I read the reviews before coming here and I will say I was concerned after purchasing because some were negative. There were reviews complaining about the cleanliness/ things being broken and even heat of the hot tub… I swear by the reviews I thought the hot tub was going to be freezing. the place was absolutly lovely. For the price you offer, everything was clean, and perfect, yes parts of the carpet are torn but if that’s going to ruin a 5 day holiday for you maybe go more expensive. The hot tub was lovely, perfectly heated. Please don’t be detoured by reviews you will have a lovely stay here.

Location i think was great. Easy to find and easy to register. Reception was easy and told keys were inside as doors were unlocked. Our lodge had a jacuzzi that was on when we arrived. Inside was clean and tidy. Bonus was a room with washing machine, hoover and dust pan with brush and clothes stand.

Recently stayed here with my partner and in laws over the bank holiday, couldn’t fault the location as there were some lovely places nearby that we visited. The lodge appeared clean on arrival but upon deeper inspection were quite dirty, the beds are very uncomfortable and to only get 1 pillow which is flat as a pancake is diabolical! I agree with the other reviews that a welcome pack should be provided such as little bottle of washing up liquid, one bin bag. We had a hot tub with our lodge which was lovely apart from the buttons were broken which caused temperature issues. Can’t say I’d be visiting again 😌
