Had a lovely group camping get away over the weekend and we will definitely be back! The facilities are impressively ample. There are plenty of toilets, and the washing-up area is generously sized, making daily chores much easier. We found two showers available: one with a charmingly rustic feel, and another that was a bit more modern, offering good options depending on your preference. One of the standout features has to be the sheer size of the pitches. They are truly enormous, ensuring that you're never on top of your neighbours. There's an abundance of space between each pitch, fostering a sense of privacy and tranquility. We were also fortunate enough to have lovely neighbours in our field, which added to the positive atmosphere. The only minor suggestion for improvement would be to enhance the lighting in the washing-up area and toilets. While perfectly functional, the current lighting is a little weak and could benefit from an upgrade. Our only real regret was missing out on the highly anticipated dog jump and dip, which was fully booked. It looked like so much fun, and we were gutted not to experience it! A prompt to pre-book this fantastic activity would be a valuable addition for future visitors.Beyond the camping pitches, the enclosed dog field was a real highlight, providing a safe and enjoyable space for our furry friend. This is the most dog friendly camp site I have every seen, if you forget anything the on-site doggy cafe will probably have what you need. Getting to pet some adorable goats and llamas was an unexpected and delightful bonus.Overall, Walnut Tree Meadow Camping exceeded our expectations. It's a truly welcoming and spacious site that offers excellent facilities and a genuine connection with nature. We can't wait to return!

Laid back vibe, plenty of space per pitch and a good distance from the next. Nice cafe on site, very dog friendly, dog themed even. Camping was good value.

Nice and compact, interesting surroundings. Did not charge extra (at least obviously)for a fire pit. Does not sell timber so make sure to bring your own. Quiet policy after nine, seems a little early but at least our neighbours had no complaints. All in all, great little campsite with real flush toilets

What a lovely peaceful site, Lots of walking available, Pet fields, Cafe on site. Basic shower & toilets & limited hook ups on an undulating grass field BUT the owners Kathryn & David are so friendly & helpful. 12/10 for us 👌🏽
