Holmbyre Smithy - Arran

Holmbyre Smithy is a single-pod glamping retreat in rural North Ayrshire, sleeping up to four across a double bed and a sofa bed. The whole space sits on one level: an open-plan living area with TV and seating, a dining section, a compact kitchen with electric hob and microwave, and a shower room with heated towel rail. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are provided. One car can park on site.

The distinguishing feature is the private hot tub, sized for six, positioned in the front garden where you can soak while looking across the surrounding countryside. The garden also has sitting-out furniture. One well-behaved pet may accompany you. Smoking is not permitted inside.

The location works for exploring the Ayrshire coast—Ardrossan, where ferries depart for Arran, is a short drive away, and the Ayrshire Coastal Path runs through the region. Nearby towns include West Kilbride, Seamill and Dalry. Culzean Castle and Kelburn Castle are within reach for those interested in local history.
