The Old Foundry

The Old Foundry is a three-bedroom cottage sleeping six, arranged across two floors with a layout built for both togetherness and privacy. Ground level holds an open-plan living and dining space that opens directly onto a terrace, with a fully equipped kitchen featuring induction hob, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a bathroom with bath and shower on this level. Upstairs, three double bedrooms are served by a shower room and an ensuite, giving guests plenty of bathroom access. The whole property is yours alone, with heating, electricity, wi-fi and bed linen all included, plus a welcome pack to start you off.

Outside, a private enclosed garden has patio space, furniture and a gas barbecue, along with a six-person hot tub. There is parking for two cars and a bike store. The cottage sits in the village of Dalry, surrounded by Ayrshire countryside rolling toward the coast. The Ayrshire Coastal Path runs through the region, offering walking and cycling for all abilities, while inland there are castles, gardens, horse riding and golf courses to explore. Culzean Castle, a National Trust property, is the area's leading attraction. Edinburgh and Glasgow are within reach for day trips. Smoking is not permitted inside.
