Strathclyde Cottage North is a single-storey property that opens directly into a generous open-plan living space. Everything happens on one level: a sitting area with two sofa beds and a TV, a separate dining zone, and a kitchen fitted with an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer. The bedroom has a king-size bed, and there's a bathroom with a bath and shower. Essentials like Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are provided, and there's parking for two cars on site.
The cottage sits on Scotland's west coast in North Ayrshire, with views across the Firth of Clyde. A restaurant is just 50 metres away, and Skelmorlie village—the starting point of the Ayrshire Coastal Path—is within easy reach. Wemyss Bay train station, a 15-minute walk, connects to Glasgow and Edinburgh, and runs ferries to Bute and Dunoon. The area suits walkers and cyclists particularly well: there are beaches, rocky coves and villages along the coast to explore, plus inland castles, gardens and country parks including Culzean and Dumfries House. Largs, a seaside town with shops and restaurants, is a short drive away.
The property is non-smoking. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge.
