Auchrannie Resort

Absolutely beautiful and well-maintained establishment. Although we only stayed for one night, we’re already looking forward to returning. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and welcoming. The restaurant served excellent food, and as we were celebrating a couple of birthdays, I had asked in advance if they could prepare a special cheeseboard instead of cake, as most of our group prefer savoury options. Bramble’s restaurant went above and beyond, creating a lovely cheeseboard with candles and even writing a “Happy Birthday” message on a separate board. The communication beforehand was exceptional. All the staff were incredibly warm and helpful. Our waiter, Finley, was fantastic, and there was also another lady whose name I didn’t catch who was equally attentive and kind. We dined in a side section of the restaurant as we had our dog with us, and they thoughtfully brought over a water bowl, which was very much appreciated. Unfortunately, as we were only there for one night, we didn’t get the chance to fully enjoy all the facilities, though the pool area looked wonderful. My only small note would be that the walls in Room 7 seemed quite thin, we could hear the neighbouring guest coughing and talking, although not clearly. It didn’t disturb our sleep, and we still had a very restful night, but it was slightly noticeable. Overall, a fantastic stay, and we very much look forward to coming back soon.

Lovely lady at check-in. Sorry didn't get her name. Superior twin room was beautiful and we had our small dog with us. Staff are all so nice. Hamiltons bar great Negronis and lovely blanket for our wee dog. About a 20 minute walk into town. Definitely would recommend and can't wait to return

TLDR: Lovely getaway, location is ideal if you don't want to take a car. Staff are lovely and friendly, breakfast was a good way to start our day, hotel bar does not do tabs. The resort is different from the hotel which is confusing during check-in. Overall our trip was lovely and would come back again. Availed of an Itison voucher to book a stay in Auchrannie Resort during their quieter season (Jan - March); you had to call to book, which isn't ideal however they were lovely in extending the voucher which enabled us to stay in late April so this was a lovely touch which precedented our stay. They have a shuttle service which collects/drops off guests in the Brodick port - ideal for those not taking a car to get around the island. Plenty of parking spaces available, staff were friendly. Say hi when they meet you walking past & if you have any questions, they're knowledgeable and helpful. There are a couple of restaurants, the Cruize being on the Aspa & the others at the Hotel. We stayed in Aspa, had our breakfast in the Cruize. For someone who has a dairy allergy, I appreciated that one of their coffee machines had an oat drink alternative over dairy. We also made use of their Aspa amenities and we enjoyed their foot bath, the steam room and their pool. Thankfully the weather was in our favour during our stay but they have everything on site if the weather isn't great. The only thing that stands out to us was that, despite us staying in the resort, the bar doesn't do tabs. Understandable but put us off from staying too long so we just headed back to our room. Other things we noted in our room that we appreciated was a golf umbrella, a mini fridge and a remote controlled fan (they don't have A/C). Overall we did enjoy our stay in Auchrannie Resort and bring friends & family next time as it has something for everyone.

Extremely well maintained and comfortable resort with excellent facilities. Staff are excellent. Immaculate care seems to be taken of the whole place. Common with many massive hotels, food is poor, particularly for the price. Evening meal in the grill was no better than brewers fayre and more than double the price. There is also unusual and rigid check in times to be aware of. 4pm in and 10am out. We arrived at 3.30pm and had to queue twice to get access to the room. Seemed many others were frustrated by this too.
