Crossroads

Wrafton sits on the edge of the North Devon countryside, close enough to the sea that coastal walks are within easy reach. Crossroads is a four-bedroom house with space for eight, set back from the road with a substantial garden and parking on site. The property is yours alone for the duration of your stay, and one well-behaved pet can come too at no extra cost.

Inside, the accommodation spreads across two floors. Downstairs holds two separate living areas (both with woodburners), a kitchen with electric oven and gas hob, dining room and conservatory, plus a shower room. Upstairs are four bedrooms: one with a super king bed and ensuite, two further doubles, and a room with two bunks suitable for children. A family bathroom serves the upper landing. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking from scratch, and a travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request.

The real draw is the third-acre garden at the back. It has a summerhouse, seating areas, garden furniture and a gas barbecue—the kind of outdoor space that absorbs a family for hours. The Williams Arms is nearby if you'd rather not cook one night. No smoking indoors.
