Scottie’s Retreat

Scottie's Retreat is a single-storey bungalow on a small estate near Chivenor, arranged entirely on one level. You get a living room with a smart TV and DVD player warmed by a gas fire, a kitchen fitted with an electric oven, gas hob and microwave, and a conservatory with its own electric fire. A double and single bedroom lead off the main space, along with a shower room. The grounds are shared with other properties on the estate; parking is 70 yards from the door. One dog can stay with you at no extra cost.

The kitchen is set up for self-catering, with a fridge-freezer and washing machine included. Essentials like bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are covered. The location sits on the edge of Braunton, close enough to reach shops and restaurants on foot, and it is a short drive to Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe beaches. The Tarka Trail passes nearby for cycling, and the sand dunes at Braunton Burrows are accessible for walking. Clovelly, Appledore and the attractions around Barnstaple are within an easy journey. Children under 12 are not accommodated except babies in arms. Smoking is not permitted inside.
