Weach Barton Granary stands on a 200-acre sheep and beef farm two miles from Instow's beach, where sailing and coastal walks are on the doorstep. Bideford lies 1.5 miles away with its mix of independent shops, antique dealers and harbourside atmosphere; boat trips to Lundy Island and along the coast depart from there. The granary itself is a converted farm building raised on original stilts, giving it character you won't find in standard holiday lets. Within a five-mile radius you'll find golf, horse riding, fishing and watersports; Clovelly and Rosemoor Gardens are twelve miles off. Cycle routes follow the estuary if you want to explore under your own steam.
The property is one compact storey with everything you need to hand. A double bedroom and a single bedroom lead off the open-plan living space, which combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas. One bathroom contains a bath with shower. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, and there's a washing machine in the store room. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with heating and electricity. Parking is on site. The garden has furniture for sitting out, and farm visits can be arranged if you're interested in how the place operates.
This is a no-smoking property. The compact layout and single beds make it most suitable for a couple with one child, or two adults travelling together.
