Winston Lodge suits families or couples wanting their own space without the formality of a hotel. The detached property sleeps four across two bedrooms—a king and a double—with one bathroom and a separate shower room off the master. Everything is on the ground floor, opening onto decking and a lawned garden with seating and a barbecue. The living room has a TV and DVD player; the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and air fryer. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included.
The lodge sits within 60 acres of natural grounds shared with other on-site properties, complete with a woodland walk that loops around the farm. Dogs are welcome at no extra cost and have their own enclosed field to run in. You'll have private parking for three cars. Lincoln's cathedral, castle and shopping streets are a short drive away, while Newark Showground—known for antique fairs—is about ten minutes by car. The nearest shop is three miles off; a pub and restaurant, a mile and a half. The grounds contain a pond. No smoking inside the property.

Had a weekend here with my daughter and her 2 dogs for abit if adult time . Stayed in oscar lodge .Beautiful lodge has everything you need for your stay . Had a lovely box of chocolate biscuits left for us and treats for the dogs. Very quite and beautiful surroundings with a bertie playpen for dogs definitely used by us and then onto the woodland walk. Excellent place to stay .would definitely stay again.

Such a lovely week away in Humphrey Basil Lodge. Spotlessly clean, everything you need and a lovely easter egg and cakes left for our arrival. The alpacas are beautiful and the other wildlife. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

We have stayed here twice, first at Oscar Lodge and then Winston Lodge. Very nicely decorated and the accommodation is exceptionally clean, well laid out and comfortable. The site is very quiet even though the main A46 road is only a short distance away making it easy to get to both Newark and Lincoln. There is plenty of onsite parking behind an electric gate and the lodges are a short walk away from the parking area. The owner is very helpful if you have a problem. If you have a dog Birchdale Lodges is an ideal place to stay. Don't believe the 1 star review, check his review history and you will see he often leaves 1 star reviews. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again and have recommended it many times.

Loved our stay at Oscar Lodge, already booked 3 lodges to return with family next year. Beatiful lodges, very clean and well equipped with everything you'd need. My only suggestion is some hooks in the hall for hanging coats, especially if it's raining.
