Lucy's Lodge is a three-bedroom lodging on a working arable farm between Lincoln and Newark, run as a holiday complex with several other properties. You get the whole lodge to yourselves, with a fully equipped kitchen (oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave), a ground-floor open-plan living space with 42-inch Freeview television, and three ensuite bedrooms. Each bedroom has two single beds; each bathroom has a shower and toilet. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are provided, and the heating is on.
The lodge sits within 20 acres of grounds that you share with the other on-site properties. There is an indoor heated swimming pool (4m by 10m, depth 1m to 2m, open year-round), a lawned garden with sitting-out area and furniture, and free fishing on the two lakes in the grounds if you hold a valid licence. Parking for four cars is available on-site. The grounds do contain unfenced fishing lakes; this is worth knowing if you are travelling with young children.
Lincoln city centre, home to the cathedral and castle, is five miles away. Newark showground—known for its international antique fairs—is roughly fifteen minutes' drive. The nearby Burton Waters inland marina has restaurants, bars and shops. A pub and restaurant are two miles away, and a shop is three-quarters of a mile from the lodge. No smoking inside.

Our second visit in a year. Such lovely, friendly people. Every need is met. Natasha came around to check all was OK with the cottage and we had a minor issue which was resolved by the time we came back from a day out. The cottage is very well equipped and the 3 bathrooms were a massive bonus to us, especially with my dad, who is 104, so the ground floor bedroom with his own bathroom was massively appreciated. Beautiful surroundings, big swimming pool and very peaceful, but within 20 mins of the city centre, are all you need for a fantastic holiday. Thanks Natasha and Peter.

Had a wonderful relaxing holiday. The accommodation had everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It has good fishing on offer to it's guests. There's a great pool as well ,and lots of grounds to walk . The properties have a gated entrance so you fell secure . Peter the owner and Natasha are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Its only a short drive Doddington hall , you could walk it if you felt up to it. You are also only 15 minutes from Lincoln centre so it's a great base to visit the surrounding area

absolutely beautiful place, back to nature and if you are into fishing then you will love it here the fish are massive , the owner peter is a lovely gentleman who did meet and greet as we got there n told us where everything was. we really enjoyed ourselves thankyou peter you are a star ⭐

What a lovely few days we had and a bit thank you to Natasha and Peter. Excellent communication before hand and throughout. Such a beautiful place. We stayed with our family in Carp Cottage. it was beautifully clean and all the extras was really appreciated, especially the lovely box of chocolates!! The pool was an added bonus which we all really enjoyed. Again really clean and a lovely table and chairs next to it to sit and enjoy watching the kids have fun. The open fields were great for playing catch with the kids and the scenery lovely. Our grandchildren loved meeting the three very friendly dogs. I cannot fault the place at all. Everything was perfect. Thank you! we may be back one day.
