Wallrudding Farm Cottages occupies 20 acres of countryside between Lincoln and Newark, built into the grounds of an operating arable farm. The setting draws visitors for the two on-site fishing lakes and those wanting quiet space away from town, though the cathedral city of Lincoln is only 5 miles off and Newark's antique fairs are a 15-minute drive. Walks and cycle routes cross the surrounding area, and Burton Waters marina—with restaurants and shops—is close by.
Roach is a ground-floor cottage sleeping two in single beds, with an open-plan living space that includes a kitchen equipped for self-catering, dining area, and a shower room. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are provided; electricity runs on a coin meter. There is parking for one car on site and a sitting area in the front garden. The unfenced fishing lakes lie 55 yards from the property, so take care if children are present. Fishing is free (though a licence is required) and the shared indoor swimming pool—4m by 10m, heated year-round—has shower and changing facilities. No smoking is permitted inside.

Our second visit in a year. Such lovely, friendly people. Every need is met. Natasha came around to check all was OK with the cottage and we had a minor issue which was resolved by the time we came back from a day out. The cottage is very well equipped and the 3 bathrooms were a massive bonus to us, especially with my dad, who is 104, so the ground floor bedroom with his own bathroom was massively appreciated. Beautiful surroundings, big swimming pool and very peaceful, but within 20 mins of the city centre, are all you need for a fantastic holiday. Thanks Natasha and Peter.

Had a wonderful relaxing holiday. The accommodation had everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It has good fishing on offer to it's guests. There's a great pool as well ,and lots of grounds to walk . The properties have a gated entrance so you fell secure . Peter the owner and Natasha are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Its only a short drive Doddington hall , you could walk it if you felt up to it. You are also only 15 minutes from Lincoln centre so it's a great base to visit the surrounding area

absolutely beautiful place, back to nature and if you are into fishing then you will love it here the fish are massive , the owner peter is a lovely gentleman who did meet and greet as we got there n told us where everything was. we really enjoyed ourselves thankyou peter you are a star ⭐

What a lovely few days we had and a bit thank you to Natasha and Peter. Excellent communication before hand and throughout. Such a beautiful place. We stayed with our family in Carp Cottage. it was beautifully clean and all the extras was really appreciated, especially the lovely box of chocolates!! The pool was an added bonus which we all really enjoyed. Again really clean and a lovely table and chairs next to it to sit and enjoy watching the kids have fun. The open fields were great for playing catch with the kids and the scenery lovely. Our grandchildren loved meeting the three very friendly dogs. I cannot fault the place at all. Everything was perfect. Thank you! we may be back one day.
