Orchard Cottage comes ready for a self-catering break. The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer, so you can cook as much or as little as you want. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all covered. Logs for the woodburner are supplied. There's a washing machine and tumble dryer in the shared laundry room, and the cottage provides a cot and highchair if needed.

The whole ground floor is open plan: a living space with Freeview TV and DVD player opens onto a dining area and kitchen, with French doors leading to the courtyard. Bedroom 1 has a double bed (4ft 6in) and its own ensuite shower. Bedroom 2 has two single beds (3ft) with a second ensuite. Outside, an enclosed orchard garden with patio and furniture offers a private space to sit. Bikes can be stored in the cycle store on site, and there's parking for two cars.

The cottage sits in 4½ acres on the edge of Lower Gresham, about 4 miles from Sheringham and its sandy beaches, steam railway and leisure centre. Cromer's pier and seafront are equally close. Cycle Route 30 runs past the property; inland, deserted lanes and footpaths lead into Norfolk countryside. Within 5 miles are Felbrigg Hall and Sheringham Park, and the bird reserves at Morston and Cley. A pub and shop are 2 miles away. No smoking inside the cottage.

An absolutely beautiful site. Fully serviced pitches. Great facilities and so quiet. All you can hear are the birds and sheep. We have booked another stay that’s how nice it is. It is an easy drive to Cromer, Sheringham or Holt. Definitely recommend.

We chose to stay for a week in the Stables at the end of February 2026. The cottage and location seemed to be exactly what we wanted. We were delighted when we arrived because it was better than we expected. We loved our stay and intend to return. Ian, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. He could not have provided a better service.
